Privacy notice
Last updated October 5, 2026.
This notice explains what information ABS Van Rentals, LLC ("ABS Van Rentals", "we", "us") collects through absvans.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to this website — not to rental agreements, vanpool enrollment or other paperwork, which have their own terms.
Information we collect
Information you send us. When you use our contact form, we receive what you enter:
- your name and email address
- your phone number and company or organization, if you provide them
- what you're asking about (for example, a rental, a specific van or a vanpool)
- your message
If you call or email us directly, we receive the information you choose to share in that conversation.
Basic technical information. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical details when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use it
We use the information you send us only to respond to your request — for example, to check van availability, give you a quote, or talk with you about joining or starting a vanpool — and to keep a record of our conversation.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, advertising or analytics trackers, or social media pixels, and we don't load content from other companies' servers when you browse it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only:
- with Netlify, the company that hosts this website, which receives contact form submissions and forwards them to our email;
- with Microsoft, which provides our business email;
- when required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and for our normal business records, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below).
How we protect it
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to submitted information is limited to our staff. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please don't include payment card numbers, driver's license numbers or other sensitive details in the contact form — we'll collect what we need for a rental in person or by phone.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you from this website, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email abaer@absvans.com or call (540) 659-6323, and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Links to other websites
Our site links to a few other websites, such as Google Maps for directions and RentalCover.com for rental insurance. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
